To fully support your health, we also offer services such as manual therapy, KT taping, and the Graston technique, tailored to your specific needs.
Posture is more than sitting up straight. We’ll assess your postural alignment and common movement patterns, then create a plan to improve alignment and meet your individual movement goals. We’ll also consider changes to your deep core and posture after body traumas, then use that information to prevent further injury.
Discover the power within you with our personalized one-on-one women's health Pilates session. Whether in person in Chicago or virtually, our sessions are designed exclusively for women, offering a holistic approach to well-being. Within each session, you can expect to work on:
Our expert instructors specialize in pelvic health, guiding you through targeted exercises that teach the seven levels of pelvic floor contractions. You’ll increase your ability to consciously relax and contract your pelvic floor muscles through awareness. At the same time, you’ll strengthen your mental connection to your core for whole-body benefits.
Your body is endlessly adaptable, for better or worse. In some cases, your body may respond to a significant change with tighter muscles, weakness, instability, or pain. We’ll flip the script to instill more positive adaptations for a functional body that moves pain-free.
Experience a deep connection with your core muscles as we tailor exercises to your unique needs. Strengthen your core for improved posture, stability, alignment, and overall vitality.
Your breath is so much more than simply inhaling and exhaling. We’ll help you unleash the power of your breath with a thorough education on resting breathing vs. exercise breathing and when to deploy each type of breath. We excel at supporting special populations who can use breathing techniques to regulate intra-abdominal pressure, a key contributor in preventing hernias, prolapse, diastasis recti, and back pain.
Movement patterns, or your kinetic chain, refers to how your ligaments, joints, and muscles work together to move fluidly and in alignment. By focusing on this biomechanical chain and your fascia (that is, the connective tissue that supports everything in your body), we can improve your functional movement and joint stability.

Working with Anna has been truly transformative. I was struggling with issues from long covid as well as significant body changes from entering into life after menopause. Anna is incredibly talented and a master at her craft. My body is complex and that complexity is met by her magical hands and superior guidance. I have been able to recapture movement and strength and confidence that I did not think was possible. I cannot imagine working with a better practitioner!
Never, in my 40+ years of working with a trainer have I had one as detailed, present and creative as Anna who has been working with me twice a week for the past 3 years. When I can’t get it one way, she comes up with a different way to work that muscle group - skills honed over many years and different approaches to understanding body dynamics.
In-Person Sessions are held at Movement Med (230 E Ohio Ave, Chicago, IL 60611 )
Ania is exceptional in every way. I worked with her regularly before I became pregnant and throughout my pregnancy.
She helped me expand on diaphragm breathing techniques and strengthen my pelvic floor. As the pregnancy progressed she made sure I was always in safe positions while still challenging me. Working with Ania prepared me for childbirth and I credit our work together for the easy delivery of my son! There is no one as knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging as Ania. In addition to being a phenomenal Pilates instructor she is a wonderful person. If I could work with her every day I would!
